Difficult Days

My last post talked about my friend who was at that time was in Albany Med with major problems. I just got home from her funeral.
My wife passed away in 1989 and I have been single since. I thought this was the one. Sandy was a great person, a very special person. She was loving and kind, she did not have an agenda for the relationship, we just enjoyed each others company, and did many things together. It was a godsend for both of us and we loved each other and every minute we had together.
I will miss you Sandy, I know you are now in God's hands. I now have another reason to surrender even more to God, I don't want to miss eternity in Heaven, because I will get to see you again.

In Three's

We always hear of things happening in 3's, last week was the perfect example.
It was quite a week, one of my daughters-in-law was in a bad accident, she fell asleep at the wheel and went over an embankment into the path of oncoming traffic, she is ok, thank the Lord. The car did not fare as well. But cars can be replaced, we could never replace her. I am so glad she is ok.
Another daughter-in-law had major heart problems and ended up in the CCU. She was touch and go for a while, but thank God she ok. We could never replace her either.
My closest friend is in Albany Med with serious problems. I cannot believe this could have happened so rapidly. I will continue to pray for her, and I am asking you to pray for her too. She is not out of danger yet and she needs our prayers. Her family also needs our prayers.
We often talk about God having the picture window that he looks thru, and we have the very narrow window, it is difficult now to have only that narrow view to see out of. This certainly is something that tests our faith in God. God give us strength. Everything is in your hands.
