Strange

I heard on the radio that a majority of people favor same sex marriage, and on the tv I saw a poll where 57% of people are not only not in favor of it, but are angry because it has been made legal, strange isn't it, how could that happen. ???????

The other day I was walking and praying. I thought of life and how we struggle with the issue's in our lives. We work very hard and solve "most" of the issues. This age issue, I can't seem to overcome this one. How great it is that we can accept Jesus as our personal savior, and he takes this issue for us as he does so many other ones.

Perfect Example

What are people supposed to do?
Today was the perfect example, I was driving back home from Glens Falls and one expert was talking about the economy, he said, "I hate to tell you this, but we are going to be in a double dip recession very soon.
The next program was another expert, she said, "I know, I know some are saying we are heading for a double dip recession, but I'm telling you that is not the case, we most certainly are not, the eonomy may be slow but it is growing, take my word for it".
I feel sorry for the average man, we have no way of knowing which is right. We just have to keep trying to keep our heads above water and at the rate things are going we will be broke and in the bread lines wondering how we are going to have enough money to live. And the rich will continue to get richer.

That forgiveness issue again.

I seems like there is no end to forgivness issues, a man just took huge amounts of a family members belongings, he even took my granddaughters Hope Chest.
I will work for a long time inside myself to forgive this one. But I will do it. What kind of a man must he be?

How come!!!!!

How come, the 1st amendment has been trampled on time after time for the last 18 months.
How come, when the people say they don't want the mosque built 2 blocks from 9/11, now all of the sudden we have to follow the Constitution, word for word.
It is hard to understand.

More on forgiveness

Forgiveness is very difficult when something happens and you have to forgive and it is over. No problem, as soon as you forgive you never think of it again, difficult but very doable.

Many times that is not the case. Many times the people or companies or whatever that we need to forgive are in front of us daily. You think about those things that you need to forgive, and you see that those who have wronged you are still around and never admitting any wrong doing. In some cases a person does not even know that you know of the act that you must forgive but many other people know of the situation.

The forgiveness in this case is a daily challenge, daily prayer, daily exposure to the situation in your own mind, a daily struggle totally internal. I was once told by a counselor that I had to deal with more on a daily basis than anyone he had ever talked to. The only thing which can do anything to relieve that situation is total forgiveness, daily.
